Meri Adelman

I've been drawing since age 11
I went to the Maryland Institute of Art
I used to do life size portraits,
black and white only.
Then i got a benign (lucky)
brain tumor (unlucky)
which was successfully removed (luckier)
call it a popped cork or a creative tune up
thank you Anna Herman
now my drawings are smaller,  in color
and amaze me
Thank you Hannah Coale
I hope they amaze you.

I have been and always will be indebted to
early Italian painting.
and then there's always Cezanne, always.
